About you:
Demonstrable experience and understanding of commercial contract models Strong commercial acumen with proficiency in costing / profit margins financial modelling and project management Attention to detail, sound negotiation and communication skills Process-driven with strong planning and organisational skills A self-starter with high personal energy and drive is crucial as this role demands quick decision-making and capacity to handle high stress situations at times Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple deadlines each week and thrive under pressure. Appropriate skill level in Microsoft Office; particularly WORD, EXCEL and to a lesser extent PowerPoint. Exceptional written, grammatical, and visual communication skills, with a strong focus on reviewing, editing, and proofing. Knowledge of Bid Management Best Practices: Familiarity with best practices in bid management will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Review bid documents to understand customer requirements and escalate potential issues. Assist with the timely submission of customer response documents, ensuring high-quality content and appropriate detail. Ensure that tenders, contracts, estimates and quotations are prepared and submitted in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with customer requirements and that meet the financial objectives of the company. To increase and promote the sale of the businesses services to previous, current and new customers. To achieve realistic revenue targets and profit margins budgeted by the business Structuring and negotiating commercial agreements that enable successful delivery on client outcomes and business profitability. Collaborating closely with the businesses cross-functional teams to achieve successful, innovative and sustainable client focused solutions. Practice continuous improvement philosophy in ways to optimise and streamline existing business processes and commercial models to enhance efficiency and profitability.
