Evo Cycles in Wellington City is looking for a Bicycle Mechanic to join our awesome team of bicycle enthusiasts to serve the wider Wellington cycling community.
As our bicycle mechanic in Wellington City, you will be responsible for diagnosing, booking in, and servicing customers' bicycles. From quoting the customer jobs and ensuring that customers are clear on what work is required, you will see the job through to the end. Ultimately, you will find ways of working that contribute to achieving Evo Cycles' customer satisfaction and growth expectations.
Your responsibilities will include servicing bikes from all different types of genres (i.e., road bikes, mountain bikes, and children's bikes), the sale of workshop parts, looking after workshop stock (both inwards and outwards for your workshop), supporting the store staff with bicycle service-related queries, ordering parts for workshop jobs, and general customer service, all with the goal of lifting customer satisfaction at every touchpoint.
As our bicycle mechanic, you will have a positive, customer-oriented attitude with a win-win outlook for both Evo Cycles and the customer.
What we're looking for:
Experience as a Bicycle Mechanic
Willingness to upskill as a bicycle mechanic and grow with Evo Cycles
Good communication skills whether engaging within the team or with customers
