Store Manager roles do not come up often, so if you want the opportunity to lead an awesome crew and grow one of our stores, you need to apply now.As our store manager in Wellington City, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our retail store – setting objectives for the team, supporting their performance, and finding ways of working that contribute to achieving Evo Cycles customer satisfaction and growth expectations.You will have accountability for the staff and positively lead the team. Your responsibilities will include sales, stock (both inwards and outwards), rostering, hours submission, supporting your staff, ordering parts/bikes, and general customer service all with the goal to lift customer satisfaction at every touchpoint.As the Store Manager, you will foster a positive, customer-oriented culture in which staff are supported, empowered, and motivated to perform. You'll also be more than happy leading from the front, getting involved at the customer level, and contributing with sales.What we're looking for:Proven leadership experience in a similar (retail) business with the achievement of strong selling, customer experience, and business performance objectivesExperience in successfully leading a team (minimum 1 year), embedding a customer-centric culture of sales, high performance, teamwork, and specialist expertise/knowledgeOutstanding communication skills whether engaging within the team or with customersExperience in (or a passion for!) the retail cycling industry would be a huge bonusIf you have previously worked in the bicycle industry, please provide us with any industry specific qualifications including Sram, Shimano, Bosch, Giant and Trek.The role is full time (40 hours a week) and it will include 1 weekend day.This is an exciting role - leading a retail/service operation in a growing and fast-paced environment!
