An awesome opportunity to be a Bicycle Service Technician in Palmerston North!As our Evo Cycles Bicycle Service Technician, you will be jointly responsible for the day to day running of the workshop and the servicing of customers bicycles. From quoting the customer jobs and ensuring that customers are clear on what work is required, you will see the job through to the end. Ultimately you will find ways of working that contribute to achieving Evo Cycles customer satisfaction and growth expectations.Your responsibilities will include servicing bikes from all different types of genres (i.e. ebikes, road bikes, mountain bikes and children's bikes), the sale of workshop parts, looking after workshop stock (both inwards and outwards for your workshop), supporting the store staff with bicycle service related queries, ordering parts for workshop jobs and general customer service all with the goal to lift customer satisfaction at every touchpoint.As our bicycle service technician you will have a positive, customer-oriented attitude with a win-win outlook for both Evo Cycles and the customer.What you'll be doing:Diagnosing mechanical issues with customer bicyclesDaily reporting to the Showroom LeaderQuoting workshop jobsOrdering parts for jobsUndertaking the bicycle mechanic work in a timely and safe mannerAssisting customers with queriesRegularly up-skilling on our systems, services and productsMonitoring stock levels in your service centreHelping prepare the service centre for stock takesHelping to improve and grow the service centre (and cycling!!) in the Manawatu regionPerks of the job:Working around all the latest bikes and technologyGenerous crew discounts (to help with the above)You get to work with likeminded people who all have a passion for cycling in some way shape or form!We'd like to hear from you if you have some of the following:Experience as a Bicycle Mechanic (minimum 3 years)Willingness to upskill as a bicycle mechanic and grow with Evo CyclesGood communication skills whether engaging within the team or with customersThis is an exciting role in a growing and fast-paced environment!
