If you excel at forging new relationships and closing deals, this position will be a perfect fit for you!What we offer:Competitive remuneration + incentive scheme entitlementFulltime Permanent employmentCareer progression opportunitiesWhat you will do:Secure sales growth of the Applied business within AucklandHow you will do it:Develop short and long range sales plans and prepares sales strategies and submissions to reach nominated targets for the Applied Business in their respective TerritoryCall on target organisations to identify profitable sales opportunities; managing the preparation and submission of sales proposals in line with Johnson Controls corporate policies and processesInfluence tender requests to include Johnson Controls specified Applied Products and Systems/SolutionsDeliver assigned business plans achieving secured sales volume ($) and gross margin ($) vs PlanProvide information to management regarding the Applied industry and recommends plans to maximise future business in line with the Applied growth strategyRepresent Johnson Controls in the marketplace by observing the highest standards of professionalism, integrity and demeanor100% compliance with the Johnson Controls Ethics Policy and Safety PolicyFoster strong relationships with all Customers and provides sales and technical support to Contractors, Consultants and End-Users in order to maximize solution sales and customer satisfactionLead the engagement of existing and potential Customers and Stakeholders (Owners, Consultants, Contractors and Government Bodies) to win new business, and grow existing customer accountsEnsure accurate and timely submission of quotations, forecasts for secured and revenue on Sales & Collections and Reports Expenses in accordance with Company PolicyGenerates forecast for sales secured, delivery, collection, sales backlog, inventory management and any other sales related issues at all timesCompliance with Johnson Controls' Policies and Procedures at all timesWhat we look for:Bachelor's Degree (or higher) preferably in Engineering5 - 10 years work experience in sales ideally Applied BusinessProven Sales ability including year-on-year growthAbility to communicate both internally and externally at all levelsExperience working with Consultant, Owners, main Contractors and other key Stakeholders within the Building and Commercial IndustryExcellent leadership, communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skillsJohnson Controls International plc.
