Position Title : BAW Coordinator & Trainer. Reporting To : Building Awesome Whanau Manager Employment Type : Full Time, Fixed Term (12 month) Employment Date : Starting ASAP What is Parenting Place about? As a BAW Coordinator & Trainer, you recognise that relationships are at the heart of everything that we do. At Parenting Place, we deeply value Te Tiriti o Waitangi and place huge importance on the relationship we, as tangata tiriti (people of Te Tiriti), can have with tangata whenua (people of the land) and with the whenua itself. Key responsibilities and tasks include:   Show lots of manaaki and build relationships with key people connected to our kaupapa.  Provide excellent course facilitator training and development to encourage, inspire and equip facilitators to fulfil the vision of Building Awesome Whanau (BAW). Demonstrate the value of Ako in face to face and/or online facilitation of Building Awesome Whanau courses.  Connect with mana whenua! Collaborate in Parenting Place Events - Mahi Tahi!! Who are we looking for? A confident and friendly person who genuinely loves connecting with people! Experience in building and fostering excellent relationships.  Personal commitment to ongoing learning and professional development of te reo Maori me ona tikanga.  Passionate about Building Awesome Whanau!
