This head position is a rare opportunity for you to join us where you will be in charge of the accounting team and work closely with the Director to make a difference to our practice, as well as to our clients' businesses and future with your tax knowledge, organisation/implementation skills and business advisory.
The role includes:
Reviewing accountant's work to ensure exceptionally high standards are consistently met
Be a leader and enjoy guiding, training and motivating your team
Working closely with the director and senior team regularly on varied and specialist projects
Client meetings to go over tax plans, annual financial statements, cash flows and budgets
Analysis, interpretation and communication of KPI's with your clients
BAS functions - regular reporting, stats, workflow
Advancement to managing a group of clients where you become an integral part of their business
What you need:
5+ years experience in a NZCA practice with strong tax and accounting knowledge
Public Practice Certificate is advantageous but not essential
Be personable, with the ability to communicate at multiple business/corporate levels
Be passionate about technology
Thorough knowledge of accountancy software programmes
Have a natural ability to design & implement systems
A "can do" attitude that thrives on special projects and new client work, whilst maintaining excellent rapport and service to your existing clients
