Bas Manager - Flexi - Part Time

North Shore locationPart time (flexible 20 - 30 hours)Flexible working daysAbout the role:My client is looking for an experienced BAS Manager on a part-time basis. Someone with strong NZ Tax knowledge and experience who can step up to perform management duties when the Director is away. You will be managing the more complex accounts and reviewing accounts prepared by junior staff. A competitive salary, great relaxed working environment, flexible hours (20 to 30 hours), and excellent guidance are on offer.Duties:Managing complex accounts.Managing workflows.Reviewing accounts.Preparing some annual financial statements & compliance.Producing GST, FBT, Income Tax returns.Preparing client advisory documents.Producing business valuations.Analysing accounts and offering meaningful advice to clients.Preparation of management reports, budgets and forecasts.Providing systems advice.Skills & experience:CA Qualified.5+ years accounting experience with a NZ CA firm.5+ years of NZ Tax filing experience.Ability to visit and consult with clients.Excellent communication skills.Ability to extract information from various IT systems.High standard of work, accuracy, and efficiency.Be able to hit the ground running.Strong Excel, Word, and report writing skills.If you are a passionate CA/CPA Qualified Senior BAS Accountant/Manager looking to join a North Shore based CA firm, we encourage you to apply with your CV.
