Polson Higgs is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager/Manager to join our team in Dunedin.

About the role: Enjoy working with clients and stakeholders and developing these relationships further Collaborate across a range of clients of all sizes from large family and corporate groups to individual contractors, investors and not-for-profits Deliver business advisory services including management reporting, virtual CFO services, budgeting and forecasting, valuations, due diligence and other business related advice Prepare year-end financial statements and tax returns Guide and mentor junior professionals including reviewing work papers and assisting team members with complex technical issues Various other operational and strategic responsibilities to help our business develop and evolve A background in agri-business would be an advantage but we have clients across most industries including property development and investing Opportunities to contribute and participate in internal and external training sessions Key Skills: CA qualified and proven work experience as a senior accountant (3 years+ post CA qualification) Have excellent verbal and written communication skills Be numerically and analytically savvy Experience with Xero and other accounting software Enjoy working with people and understanding our clients' business Be driven to do the best for our clients and people In return: We offer you scope to develop your career with ongoing professional development Opportunity for management responsibilities with relevant experience A salary that recognises your qualifications and experience Active social club – regular monthly activities Workplace wellbeing programme About us: At Polson Higgs, our team of 50, have a caring, fun culture where we celebrate our successes.
