My client is a dynamic and leading firm in Canterbury and is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior BAS or Management Accountant to join their talented team. Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique business needs, and providing expert advice on financial matters.
Team Leadership: Help to lead and inspire a team of BAS professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to ensure their professional growth.
Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analyses, identify key trends, and provide strategic recommendations to clients for optimizing their financial performance.
Compliance and Regulation: Stay abreast of regulatory changes and ensure that clients remain compliant with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Technology Integration: Drive the integration of cutting-edge technologies in the BAS department to enhance efficiency and provide clients with innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
Proven experience in a managerial role within Business Advisory Services.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and taxation.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency in relevant accounting software and technology.
