BAS AccountantNovember 25, 2024 by John O'DonnellAs an Intermediate BAS Accountant in the team, you'll be working closely alongside the other accountants on a range of clients from different industries.Key duties:Preparation of financial statements, tax planning & other compliance dutiesManaging work flow and ensuring that the jobs are completed within the set budgetManaging the relationship and contact with ClientsSupporting the Partners & Manager with review work of junior staff.The ideal candidate:Past experience in a local Accounting firm at a heavy intermediate/low senior at a preparer level.Wide range of client portfolio: SMEs, High Networth Individuals, Family trustsSolid working experience of Xero and Xero add-onsStrong knowledge of NZ IRD tax requirementsStakeholder management and ability to communicate directly with clientsCulture & Environment:Closely knit family orientated environment that offers work-life balance and family friendly environmentPartners of this firm believe in an open door policy and allowing the BAS Accountants to maintain the Client contact and relationship.The firm is also open in receiving expressions of interest from working parents and looking to do part-time hours.How to apply?Opportunities like this don't come around often that would allow you to live & work local!
