Your next role We are currently looking for a BAS accountant to join our growing team in Auckland.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone to continue to work in a CA environment.
Varied duties and responsibilities include: Liaising and building relationships with clients Preparing annual financial statements Tax returns and Tax planning Monthly/quarterly accounts Preparing GST, FBT returns About you The successful candidate for this role will possess the following attributes: ACA qualified or near your CA qualification At least 1 year NZ CA Business Advisory experience preferably in a second tier or medium sized firm Comfortable operating at an intermediate level within business advisory services Strong level of technical knowledge including tax and financial reporting Willing to take ownership and be proactive Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong client management skills and ability to take ownership of the client relationship High level of computer skills essential Demonstrates professionalism and genuine enthusiasm Strong accuracy and attention to detail About Us With a culture focused on client and team satisfaction, for you this means support in your personal and professional development, promotion of your health and wellbeing and making sure you enjoy your time at Nexia New Zealand.
