Barista / Front Of House Full-Time

We're looking for a dynamic, reliable individual to join our team as a Barista / Front of House staff member. As part of our team, your responsibilities will include: ·         Accurately taking customer orders and processing payments over a POS system. ·         Preparing professional quality beverages using a commercial coffee machine. ·         Preparing and serving cafe style food and drinks to customers.  ·         Cleaning and maintaining cafe and equipment including but not limited to coffee grinders, espresso machines, convection ovens, display cabinets and counters. ·         Must be passionate about coffee, creative and have excellent presentation skills ·         You may be required to sell bread and patisserie items from the bakery. ·         Answer the bakery telephone and fulfil reasonable customer requests as required. ·         Clearing away used dishes and cutlery from tables when customers are finished. ·         Cleaning and preparing tables for use. ·         Washing and putting away dishes, cutlery and cooking utensils. ·         Receive deliveries and assist in putting away new stock. ·         Must enforce proper steps to ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements. ·         May be involved in cost control, ordering and purchasing. ·         Assist other staff members when required. ·         Must be able to stand for long periods of time.   If you're someone who can stand tall during busy periods, has a love for coffee, and is ready to contribute to a thriving cafe atmosphere, apply now to be part of our vibrant team!
