About the Role
The Barista/Café Assistant contributes to the quality of life of our residents by providing assistance in kitchen-related activities geared towards the provision of quality kitchen/food services to the residents & visitors to the Café.
The Barista/Café Assistant is part of a wider team including activities, housekeeping, laundry, kitchen, maintenance, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
You will have a positive can-do attitude and enjoy enriching the lives of our residents, doing everything with kindness and a smile.
Responsibilities:
Barista Experience
Be able to work on weekends
Interacting with elderly people
Performing to a high standard with diligence and care
Working within a team where we respect our residents and each other
Honesty and integrity
High energy, physical fitness, and enthusiasm
Good customer service, organisation, and problem-solving
Having your LCQ would be an advantage
