Malo is a busy, modern restaurant in the heart of Havelock North, Hawke's Bay.We are looking for an experienced Bartender to join us! We are seeking a team player who has a knack for hospitality and creating enjoyable experiences for customers.
Responsibilities: Smash out perfect classic and bespoke cocktails in a busy service.Have a passion for hospitality and a drive to continually learn more.Hold a current duty manager's certificate and ensure we are meeting liquor licensing requirements.Be a team player who can take charge, multi-task, and delegate as required during a busy service.Impart knowledge, skills, and training to all bar staff.Malo's style is welcoming, engaging, and upbeat. You'll enjoy working in an energetic, fast-paced, and social environment, where no two days are the same. You should be a smooth team player, super reliable, calm, and a strong communicator. We operate 11am – late, 7 days a week, so you'll need to be able to work a range of shifts across any given week and weekend – flexibility is a must. Previous experience curating and maintaining an extensive bar list (wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits) and waiting tables is essential.
