About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Bar Person to join our team at Stables Sports Bar & TAB in Whangaparaoa, Auckland. As a part-time Bar Person, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience to our patrons. The hours will be mainly evenings so may suit someone returning to work. Our evening shifts start at 3 or 4pm. Only apply if you are able to work these hours. What you'll be doing Preparing and serving a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beveragesTAB OperationGaming Room SupportEnsuring the bar area is well-stocked, clean and presentable at all timesProviding friendly and attentive customer service to all patronsAdhering to all relevant licensing laws and regulationsAssisting with cash handling and reconciliationSupporting the wider team as requiredWhat we're looking for Previous experience working in a bar or hospitality environment preferable but not necessary as training will be given to the rights applicant in TAB, Gaming and Bar Operations.Friendly, hospitable and reliable are more important to us than experience.Strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentResponsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification or willingness including Duty Manager and TAB operator.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a teamFlexible and available to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidaysWhat we offer At Stables Sports Bar & TAB, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our team.
