We are looking for an experienced Manager to join our excellent hospitality venue in Kingsland, Auckland Central. This position requires working on weekends. A degree or diploma in hospitality or management will be preferable.
You will be required to work a minimum of 40 hours/week. Maximum working hours: 45/week.

Qualification/Work Experience: As this is a senior role, to be successful you will need a total of 4 years of experience within the hospitality industry including bartender, waitstaff, and supervisor/manager. Candidates with LCQ qualifications and a manager certificate will be preferred for this role as this is essential to serve liquor in the establishment.
Your responsibilities may include the following:
Maintaining a welcoming environment within the bar & restaurant at all times.
Keeping up to date with licensing legislations in regards to liquor laws.
Following health and safety rules to ensure the safety of other staff and customers.
Carrying out the daily cleaning schedule within the bar with the team.
Bringing food and beverage elements of the bar in an attractive way to customers and using upselling where needed.
Ability to upsell, cross-sell, and make recommendations.
Prepare and serve bottled alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, cocktails, mocktails, etc.
Receiving payments from patrons and operating POS.
Getting staff to replenish stock and bar display.
Shift management and stock management.
Staff training and recruitment.
Assisting the owner with menu planning and drinks menu changes from time to time.
Helping the owner with cost controls, budgeting, and stock handling.
Financial skills to understand revenue management, cost, budgeting, and planning for future business.
Planning staffing levels as per events in Eden Park & around Kingsland.
