If you're our ideal candidate, you will be hard-working, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude.
You will have at least a year of experience working in a similar role, be articulate and highly organised, and able to juggle multiple demands.
Ideally, you will hold food safety certificates (Unit Standard 167 and 168), or be happy to train for one.
Bar experience would be an advantage but, most importantly, you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service, and quality!Responsibilities:Responsible Service of Alcohol: Ensure compliance with all regulations while serving alcoholic beverages responsibly.Professional Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all patrons.Customer Requests: Respond promptly and efficiently to customer requests, ensuring a positive experience.Cash and EFTPOS Handling: Manage transactions accurately, including cash and EFTPOS payments.Bar Operations: Assist with bar operations, including preparing for service, taking orders, making drinks, taking meal orders, and serving customers.Stock Management: Conduct regular stocktakes, replenish supplies, and maintain a clean and tidy bar area.Requirements:Certification: Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate and Police Clearance.Experience: Previous experience in a similar role and customer service.Skills: Good communication, time management, and ability to work under pressure.Attributes: Team player, able to work autonomously, flexible attitude, and physically fit.Desirable: NZQA Food Handling Certificate, General Managers Certificate, and knowledge of manual handling techniques.Health and Safety: Our top priority is providing a productive, safe, and healthy work environment.About Us:We are New Zealand's leading and largest provider of food and support services across multiple industries, managed by our sub-brands Eurest, Chartwells, Restaurant Associates, Medirest, and ESS.
