The candidate will have dual reporting to the Director and Property Finance Manager – Operations, and must have the ability to work under pressure whilst being proactive amongst those 'quiet' times. Fitting in with a can-do attitude with the existing lending team will be essential to the success of your application.Must be NZ Resident.Scope of PositionAssisting with the analysis of existing and new property development & bridging loans ($5-$100 million)Assisting with the preparation of terms to finance, credit memorandums and loan settlements where necessary.Calculation of NZMS returns including IRR, debt ratios and residual (exit) positions.Property evaluation and loan performance reporting for Managers and Directors of the business.Monitoring of loan covenantsAssist with monthly loan statements and Management ReportingSupporting the team, freeing them up where possible to focus on high-value activitiesKey AccountabilitiesMaintain Credit Quality: Ensure adherence to NZMS policies and procedures regarding credit-related matters. This includes protecting NZMS's interests, disclosing adverse trends, and reporting on loan performance.Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively within a high-performing team to achieve goals, address problems, and maintain strong working relationships that reflect NZMS's values and vision.Self-Development: Identify and actively pursue personal development to enhance current and future capabilities in the role.Prepare Credit Submissions: Prepare and present detailed credit submissions for new and existing clients, including transaction summaries, financial analysis, property reviews, and IRR modelling.Support New Business Initiatives: Assist in the acquisition and establishment of new business, including client liaising, processing credit approvals, managing documentation, and setting up new facilities.Job ComplexityThe role involves interacting with high-value clients, prospects, and intermediaries on complex business matters.
