This position will include early starts and a weekend day.
We have an awesome and dedicated bakery team and full training will be given.Daily Tasks Involved in the role:Producing from scratch a full range of high-quality bakery productsEnsuring food safety and health & safety standards are metDelivering exceptional customer serviceEnsuring all products are merchandised to a high standardWorking with and ensuring all bakery equipment is operated and maintained correctlyMaintaining a positive working relationship with the whole bakery team and the wider New World Kaikoura teamThe person/people we are looking for will have the following attributes:Ideally have baking experience, however we can offer full training to the right applicant, and even a bakery apprenticeship.Be able to work well in a team, but also be able to complete tasks unassisted in the required timeframeMust be able to show initiativeMust be honest and reliableMust be physically fit as they will be on their feet all dayHave a good sense of humour!Must have a positive approach to their day and have a 'can-do' attitudeHave a passion for giving excellent customer service and going the extra mile for our customersMust enjoy early startsMust have great presentation skills and attention to detailPlease note: Our busiest times are long weekends/public holidays, and summer holidaysIf you have the necessary skills and are interested in joining our successful, friendly team then please collect an application form from the service desk, or email ****** to request an application form.Overseas applicants must hold New Zealand citizenship, New Zealand Permanent Residency or a Valid New Zealand Work Permit.
