Bakery Assistant

Who are we? The Boat Shed Cafe and Bistro is opening another exciting venue in Frankton Marina. The Boat Shed Bakery will be opening mid December, serving fresh sandwiches, baked goods and breads daily. 
The Role You will:
Assist head baker with daily preparation and baking of pastries, breads and other baked goods In absence of head baker, run day to day operations of the bakeryUndertake all relevant compliance within the kitchenCooperate in on the job training where requiredIn the absence of head baker, ordering of all stock and ensure stock is labelled, rotated and stored under the correct standardsMaintain a clean and organized work area, following health and safety regulationsBenefits and Perks  Free staff mealFree coffeeA friendly and positive working environmentEpic regular staff parties (xmas 2020 skydiving, xmas 2021 canyon swing, xmas 2022 QT rafting and shotover jet)Staff discount at the cafe, bakery and at our sister restaurant and breweryIf this exciting and rare opportunity sounds appealing to you, then we would love to hear from you.
