Bakery Assistant

Pak'n Save Palmerston North is looking for a Bakery Assistant, who is reliable, self-motivated, and hard-working.As one of Palmerston North's largest bakeries, we strive to offer our customers excellent service and baked goods of a very high quality. Our bakery has an excellent reputation for our cakes, biscuits, slices, pastries, and our wide range of artisan breads.We are currently looking for a Bakery Assistant to join our team. Tasks will include wrapping and packing bakery products such as breads, buns, biscuits, pies, and cakes, as well as the merchandising of the products in the department in an attractive and highly presentable manner.This is a full-time role offering 32 hours per week.You will need:To effectively communicate with the teamTo be self-motivated to succeedCleanliness – and ability to comply with our food safety and health and safety programsTeam player, but also able to work independently and follow instructionsWhat's in it for you?On the job training and supportAn amazing team of leaders who are committed to your health and wellbeingHours are:Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday = 8hr days (5am / 8am starts)
