Qualifications: Qualified Baker or hold a Culinary Arts qualification.
Open to experienced bakers or experienced apprentices in 2nd/3rd years and recent graduates.
Sound understanding of food safety and lead by example in quality food safety practices.
Ability to keep up with both the quantity and quality our customers demand.
Duties: Making breads from scratch.
Making other bakery products including pastries and cakes.
Following food safety department requirements including completing FS paperwork.
Finishing of products.
Emptying, cleaning, and greasing baking trays, tins, and other cooking equipment.
Other department duties as assigned by the Manager.
The successful candidate will ideally have completed their qualification in Baking or Cookery but we are open to further training for the right applicant. You will need to have a commitment to excellence and strong organizational and communication skills, display high presentation standards, be honest, and have an excellent work ethic.
This is a full-time position and the hours and days of the position will be discussed with applicants at the interview stage, it will involve early starts and a weekend day.
