Gear Meat Pie Company is a locally owned, family bakery, known for our support within the community, and for delivering top-quality baked goods every day. We are seeking an experienced baker to join our busy team. Key responsibilities   producing a part range of quality baked goods for wholesale and our retail shop meeting company objectives in productivity, quality and presentation maintaining inventory and ensure adequate supplies without waste creating and testing new products to trial in our retail store ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the bakery & equipment. representing the company positively in all interactions with customers and the public. The successful candidate will have the following attributes:  a passion for the industry a trade qualification or significant relevant experience a positive and personable attitude great time management and communication skills work well under pressure and meeting deadlines. able to work in a fast-paced environment ability to maintain a positive attitude during early shifts What we offer:  Competitive hourly rate. A supportive and fun team environment. Opportunities for growth and ongoing learning. Ability to contribute to continuous improvement in a successful locally owned family business. The successful candidate will ideally have a completed their qualification, but we are open to further training for the right applicant.
