Backpackers Manager

J&B Accommodation Investments Limited, based in Hamilton, offers clean and comfortable accommodations with genuine Kiwi hospitality to both business and private travelers. We are looking for a full-time backpackers manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our motel.

Key responsibilities include:

Provide anticipatory service to guests, catering to their individual preferences and needs.

Carry out inspections of maintenance supplies, renovations, furnishings, and security issues.

Deal with customer complaints and comments.

Ensure smooth running of all banqueting outlets.

Look after the Front of House team, building rosters, and managing ordering.

Quality control in all guest areas as well as back of house and front-of-house areas.

Key success factors for this role require:

Relevant qualification in business/management or 3 years of managerial experience in managing teams.

Physically fit and active.

Positive personality and energy with a can-do attitude.

General knowledge of basic maintenance and upkeep of grounds.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.
