Over the past three years, we've helped unleash hundreds of careers, from those in retail and customer service to teachers, nurses, and tradies!We partner with some of NZ's leading businesses, striving to bridge passionate individuals with rewarding and growing sales career paths.To ensure your smooth transition, we offer a 12-month professional education and mentorship program that will teach you new skills, help you learn from others, and prepare you for the challenges ahead.An example of one of the many roles we're recruiting for is a Sales Development Representative for a high-growth SaaS company selling internationally.Role Description - SDR Development Rep!The SDR is responsible for the initial steps of the sales cycle; it's a fast-paced and people-first role!Responsibilities include:Handle Inbound Leads: Qualify and nurture inbound opportunities, ensuring they meet the criteria for a handoff to account executives.Create Outbound Opportunities: Execute semi-cold and cold outreach, including email campaigns, phone calls, and post-event follow-ups, to engage small and medium-sized businesses in the US.Meet and Exceed Targets: Work towards a monthly goal of qualifying 10-20 opportunities with a 15% lead-to-meeting conversion rate and 40% qualified opportunity-to-sale conversion rate.Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with marketing and account executives to optimize lead handoff and feedback on campaigns.Maintain CRM Hygiene: Update customer relationship management (CRM) tools accurately and in a timely manner.It's a high-energy role, almost like your own 'mini-business', so there's plenty of opportunity to be creative and disciplined at the same time!What We're Looking For:Our ideal candidate is not defined by their qualifications or background but by their abilities.We want to work with individuals that have a special kind of drive, communication skills, empathy - and are looking for a role and career path that will reward them for it!Qualifications that are advantageous, but not essential:Sales experienceAt least 1-2 years customer-facing experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDrive to get more from your mahiUniversity graduate (we're open to disciplines)Get in touch with us to discuss this role and others!
