Full time, Remote/Hybrid, Salary plus Commission/OTE. Immediate start. Seeking a Business Development/Sales Executive to join the Brandkit team.
We are a New Zealand headquartered B2B SaaS (Software as a Service) company, established in 1997, working in the branding, digital media, content management sector. We're a small team of 5 (Founder, Admin, Designer, 2 x Engineers) and a dog named Harry.

Our clients include well-known brands and organizations across a broad spectrum of industries from around the globe. We have a strong presence in the National and Local Government, Economic Development, and Tourism sectors in several markets.

We all work remotely and practice asynchronous working. We're also Mac people.

We love meeting up, we love authentic brands, we love content, we love visuals.
However, for an async style of work - you have to be a good writer. You need to write up (and sketch up) your ideas, and explain your idea/concepts. You need to write to customers and build relationships often with words first. Only later do you get to converse in person or via video call.
Position Overview: This role will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by combining business development, sales, and account executive responsibilities. This individual will work closely with the founder to generate demand and leads, conduct sales demos, close sales, and maintain good customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Business Development: Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through inbound and outbound efforts.
Develop and execute demand generation campaigns to attract new customers.
Utilize various marketing channels (email, social media, content marketing, etc.) to drive lead generation.
Analyze and report on sales performance to optimize results.
Conduct engaging and informative product demonstrations for prospective clients.
Coordinate the entire sales cycle from lead qualification to closing deals.
Negotiate and close sales to meet or exceed sales targets.
Develop, nurture, and maintain relationships with prospects and clients.
2. Account Management: Serve as the point of contact for assigned accounts.
Nurture customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing customers.
Work with the founder and engineering team to identify product improvements and emerging customer requirements.
Qualifications Preferably (but not essential) a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Proven ability in sales and business development roles, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
A good understanding of demand generation and sales processes.
Experience in or selling to mid-size marketing teams would be a bonus.
Familiarity with design concepts, such as the difference between RGB and CMYK, would be a bonus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to self-manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Compensation Competitive base salary plus commission.
