We're looking for a dynamic B2B Marketing Manager to join a well-known business in central Auckland. This isn't just any role; it's a chance for someone with 7+ years of B2B marketing experience to step into a position where they can really make their mark.
Our client needs someone who doesn't just tolerate the building and fixing phases but thrives in that environment—ideally, someone who finds energy in creating and refining marketing functions from the ground up, including setting up systems and processes.
If you're coming from a scale-up or tech background and have been that one-person marketing team, this could be your opportunity to take a seat at the decision table and stretch your strategic capabilities.
In this role, you'll have the autonomy to craft and execute marketing strategies for the growth engine of the business. You'll need to work closely with different parts of the company, pulling everything together to create a unified marketing approach that boosts cross-sell opportunities for services and products.
Experience working alongside Sales teams is essential, as this role requires close collaboration and alignment between the departments.
You'll be part of a larger marketing team, but this is a big role—you'll have reports supporting you in executing campaigns. You'll need to be confident and strategic, but not above getting hands-on when necessary.
A solid background in stakeholder management is critical; there are multiple priorities to juggle and manage effectively.
Any experience working with channel partners will be a definite plus.
To succeed in this role, you'll need to be someone who can quickly build trust with stakeholders and partners and step up in high-level strategic discussions.
A commercial mindset is key, as is the ability to connect the dots and manage projects effectively.
