The role
The employer is one of the area's leading dealerships and is looking to bring on a qualified, experienced technician into their team.
As a technician, you will be servicing, repairing, and performing diagnostics on light passenger cars, utes, and LDVs. If you have a WOF licence, you will also carry out occasional WOF checks.
The skills we seek
To be considered for the role you will need to have:
A recognised automotive trade qualification
Prior experience as an automotive mechanic working on passenger cars
Franchise dealership experience is ideal, particularly on volume brands
Team player with a solid work ethic
A willingness to share and seek knowledge in a supportive environment
Good communication and customer service skills
A clean and current driver's licence
A WOF licence is an added bonus though this is not essential
In return you will receive
A remuneration package based on your qualifications and experience is on offer - wage rates will range between $30 and $36 per hour
