Automotive Services Advisor - South Island

As part of our ongoing automotive channel expansion we are now looking for an Automotive Service Advisor to manage our South Island store network.

About the Role Reporting to NZ Automotive Services Manager, you will be based in Christchurch, overseeing and supporting the stores across the South Island region.
Your responsibilities will include coaching and training retail managers and automotive staff with technical competence, warrant of fitness training and compliance, and ensuring high standards of performance and service for our automotive stores.
A strong focus on Health and Safety is essential as well as the ability to step into a hands-on role temporarily if necessary.
Skills & Experience Required: A full and clean NZ driver's licence A Level 4 Certificate in Automotive, or equivalent, as well as sound technical knowledge, specifically in AVI and strong adherence to NZTA standards A minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Mechanic, ideally within a leadership or senior position Excellent communication and relationship building skills A keen eye for growing revenue streams and improving business strategies and processes In return we can offer you: A competitive remuneration package Ongoing development and training within the role Company vehicle, laptop and mobile phone Great staff benefits and incentives, including Health Insurance Please Note: As Bridgestone is committed to ensuring a safe and healthy work environment, you will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug screening test.
