Due to a team member relocating to the sunny shores of Australia, McVerry Crawford Motors Palmy is on the hunt for more Front of House team member to join our current team of service advisors.

We are the principal dealer for Hyundai, Mitsubishi, Renault and Isuzu Utes and service all vehicle makes and models
We are looking for a Service Advisor in our Palmerston North Branch with proven background of delivering excellent customer service. Or perhaps you are a technician looking to get off the tools.
Wage starts at around $26 + per hour depending on experience and potentially a company car for the right applicant.
The main purpose of this job is to enhance our superior front of house / Service advisor team to create a customer first experience for every customer.
Hours are Monday to Friday 7.30am – 5.00pm or 8am – 5.30 on a shared roster.
Essential skills and attributes required for this role are:
A clean, full NZ drivers license with an ability to confidently and legally drive both manual and automatic vehicles of all makes and modelsAn honest and reliable work ethicGood communication skills, both written and verbalA willingness to learnAn ability to juggle several things at once and not get flusteredA brief summary of what this role looks like is below:
Taking bookings and entering them into our DMSAccurately gathering customer information in order to enable right fix first time approachInvoicing of jobs accurately and efficientlyLiaising with customers and advising / pricing of work requiredAssist with customer check ins when dropping of their vehicle for serviceAssist with keeping car parks clear out frontAnswer phones and take bookings and invoicingOpen lease jobs with the required lease companyPricing/quoting of jobs in next dayUpdating customers on progress of their vehicle service and or repairsSending out digital reports (super service Triage) to customersPrint off next day R/O'sLiaise with shop groomer to make sure all cars are groomed on timeHave customer cars out front ready for collectionContacting and rebooking clients when ordered in parts arriveThe above constantly evolves over time as we adapt and strive to deliver first class service to our clients
