Responsibilities: As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for:
Performing preventative maintenance and inspections.
Installing new machines and equipment as required.
Overhauling, upkeeping, and repairing all plant machines.
Reviewing and advising on engineering requirements and drawings.
Ensuring safe working practices at all times.
Carrying out routine inspections.
Diagnosing, identifying faults, and executing repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, and pumping systems.
Undertaking occasional onsite inspections/breakdown work.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have:
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
HGV Truck and Trailer driver's license (Class 5). A DG endorsement is desirable.
Good knowledge of general motor/diesel mechanics, mechanical fitting, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Ability to work as part of a team and independently with low-level supervision.
Experience working on flammable liquids or gases tank wagons is advantageous.
