Mo te turaka mahi | About the role
As a Lecturer, you will be able to share your knowledge, experience, passion and creativity with akonga (learners) interested in the automotive trade.
You will:
be a role model and mentor our learners to encourage them to achieve their goals;
deliver and modify current curriculum material;
assess learners and report on their capability and ability to use new technology in the automotive field;
teach to a wide range of learner levels in full-time or part-time study and at block courses and night classes.
You will create an outstanding experience by teaching skills and imparting your knowledge to akonga in either full-time or part-time study and in practical and theoretical settings.
The Lecturer will support automotive learning and teaching and will enhance the department's capability for training at all levels.
Ko wai koe | About you
You will have:
automotive industry experience and qualifications;
good knowledge and expertise in all modern electronics;
the right attitude and a willingness to work with people from all cultures and walks of life.
Safety will be important to you. We will support you in how to teach learners; however, if you have mentoring/coaching experience, it will be an advantage.
