As an Automation Tester, you will be involved in designing, executing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks to streamline regression and functional testing, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to enhanced software reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish and manage automation testing frameworks using tools such as Playwright and Reflect, or other suitable platforms.Perform manual, functional, and automated testing to ensure comprehensive coverage.Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts.Regularly review and update automated test suites to align with evolving product requirements.Collaborate with the QA Lead to define and refine the automation testing strategy.Integrate test automation into the development lifecycle, including CI/CD pipelines.Monitor and report on key quality metrics to measure testing effectiveness.Conduct root cause analysis on defects to improve system reliability.Partner with developers, QA, and product teams to enhance testing efficiency.Engage with support teams to provide technical assistance and resolve customer issues.Key QualificationsProven experience in automation and manual testing for complex projects.Strong track record of implementing test strategies in agile environments.Hands-on expertise with tools like Playwright, Reflect, Selenium, or equivalent.Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, DevOps, and Postman.Familiarity with Salesforce and unit testing.Quality Assurance Certification (preferred).University degree (preferred).Exhibit personal attributes such as diligence, organization, attention to detail, and a friendly approach in all interactions and responsibilities.Must have the right to work in New Zealand.What Altus Group offers:Rewarding performance: We are pleased to be able to provide employees competitive compensation, incentive and bonus plans, and a total rewards package that prioritizes their mental, physical and overall financial health.Growth and development: As a destination for top industry talent, we're investing in you to meet the evolving needs of our clients and deliver on your professional goals.
