As part of their ongoing development, they are adding a Controls Engineer to the existing team.The focus of the position:Analysis – This role will focus on looking at plant functionality. You'll be on the floor, recording and analysing production – looking at what can be improved and coordinating others to deliver it. This isn't just someone who just knows their 1's and 0's. What can the code do?Design, implement, and maintain automation and controls.There's a huge business focus on plant improvement and development, with budget available to achieve goals.Programming of PLCs (Omron), 20+ robots in the plant.Part of a team of 5-8 Engineers focused on plant optimisation.About You:1 – 5 years experience in Automation & Controls.PLC Programming and HMI configuration – no bias towards Siemens, Omron, Allen Bradley, etc.Either Degree qualified or industry experienced.Multitasker. Someone who is happy to roll their sleeves up and help others.This is a hugely exciting opportunity to work in a highly automated plant and have a real say in the development of the business and implementing new technologies.
