The Opportunity
We are looking for a Siemens automation specialist to join our engineering team. This role is responsible for troubleshooting automation and controls issues to ensure our plant is running efficiently so we can provide quality beverages for our consumers.
We are currently in an exciting period of growth and will be investing in significant upgrades at our Wiri site.
What you'll be doing

Trouble-shoot automation & controls issues affecting manufacturing performance or supply
Document change management processes
Monitor and back up HMI's, PLC's and other configurable systems
Assist in developing standards that can be used to ensure industry best practice
Work closely with a broad range of stakeholders to ensure changes are correctly communicated

What's in your toolkit?

Experience in Automation and Controls in a Manufacturing, Food and Beverage or similar FMCG environment
A Bachelors Degree such as Mechatronics, Computer Science or relevant work experience in automation and controls engineering
Must have strong Siemens automation experience
Understanding of or experience with the principles of Machine Safety, Process Safety, and root cause analysis
Experience documenting change management processes
A desire to learn – if you don't know the answer you will do your best to find it
Ability to make recommendations to continuously improve policies, methods, or procedures
A clear communicator that can connect with the team and key stakeholders to work through problems together
