Automation Engineer

We are looking to expand our engineering team with a Sr. Automation Engineer in New Zealand. In this role you'll ensure that our SaaS platform, product, and tools function appropriately. You'll work closely with the developers to ensure any changes behave as expected, and be a key member of our small but growing team in New Zealand.Your day-to-day activities will entail:Analysing current functionalityWriting automated tests to ensure stable and reliable releasesDefining test plans that cover typical customer use cases and business scenariosLoad testing with larger volumesAssisting the customer success team with troubleshooting and identifying bugsReporting and documenting issuesReviewing functional changesWorking closely as a team by actively participatingConsider applying if you have experience with:Jest/Playwright automated testingSaaS platform REST APIReact web appNodeJS CLI toolSnowflake integrationOIDC integrationKubernetes containerizationGitJiraQualifications:BSc in Computer Science or similar relevant fieldPrevious experience working as a highly productive Individual Contributor on a complex software productWriting test automation in JavaScriptAbility to work fully remote but must reside within New ZealandGood time-management skillsGreat interpersonal and communication skillsThis is a permanent fully remote position, as Coalesce is a global company, founded in the USA, with employees residing around the globe.
