About the Role
You will play a vital role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the electrical systems of large machinery used in industries such as mining, forestry, construction, and agriculture. Here's an overview of what they typically do:
No day will be the same and you will need to think on your feet juggling priorities. You will be working side by side with a diverse group of maintenance professionals' who work on anything from 400 tonne diggers to small components – from the Steel Mill to the Quarries the variety is huge!!
Responsibilities:

Troubleshooting and Diagnosis
Wiring Repairs and Replacement
Battery Maintenance and Testing
Alternator and Starter Repairs
Lighting System Repairs and Upgrades
Custom Electrical Installations
Problem solving and customer liaison.

About You:

Minimum 3 years experience (Heavy Equipment)
Appropriate Auto Electrical qualifications equivalent NZQA level 4
Good computer skills
Mining / Forestry industry equipment experience ideal.
