Audit Director or Associate Audit Director New Zealand Government – Tauranga, North Island

We invite passionate individuals to join our team in Tauranga as Audit Director or Associate Audit Director.
In this role, you'll manage a portfolio of audits that may cover a diverse range of organisations, including for-profit organisations and public benefit entities operating in central government or local government. Your role will include signing audit reports on behalf of the Auditor-General, in accordance with the requirements of the Public Audit Act 2001.
You'll play an important leadership role, mentoring colleagues to support their personal and professional growth and helping to ensure that Audit New Zealand operates effectively and efficiently.
Fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment. Building strong client relationships. Maintaining the highest standards of audit quality. Qualifications It's essential that you're a Chartered Accountant (or have an equivalent overseas professional qualification recognised by the Auditor-General).

Expected salary for Associate Director is between $180 - $210,000 and for Audit Director between $190 - $225,000.
