The Audit Delivery Manager will be responsible for establishing and embedding the audit function within this organisation. This critical role will involve setting up the audit program, ensuring it aligns with the company's requirements and meeting regulatory commitments.
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified NZ CA with experience having been gained within the Commercial, Big 4 or Mid Tier audit environment.
Key requirements: Experience in Audit and Project Management:
Proven experience in leading or managing audit processes, ideally within a corporate or public sector environment.
Strong understanding of audit methodologies, timelines, and procedures.
Project management skills, with the ability to prioritize, track progress, and deliver on time.Prioritization and Decision-Making:
Ability to assess and prioritise audit requests and deliverables effectively, balancing the needs of auditors with project timelines.
Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to make decisions based on urgency and impact.Knowledge of Information Gathering and Preparation:
Expertise in best practices for gathering and preparing information for audits, including structuring data and documentation for clarity and completeness. Experience in developing clear processes for information collection to ensure timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.Clear and Effective Communication:
Ability to present complex information in a simple and understandable format for auditors, ensuring clarity and completeness of data.
Experience in preparing reports, summaries, and presentations that meet auditors' needs while adhering to quality standards.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to engage with senior stakeholders and guide teams.Attention to Detail and Quality Focus:
A strong focus on delivering high-quality work, with meticulous attention to detail.
Experience in identifying potential issues or gaps in audit information and ensuring these are addressed before delivery to auditors.Leadership and Team Guidance:
