The Bay of Plenty District Audiology service is based at Tauranga Hospital and Whakatane-based clinics.As part of the Audiology team, you will mostly work with children to provide expert diagnostic assessment and rehabilitation services. The service's current focus is on quality paediatric services including electrophysiological assessments, paediatric diagnostics and habilitation (including Bone Anchored/Conduction Hearing Aids), and diagnostic assessments for ENT clinics. Our service has close working relationships with Ear Nose and Throat, Paediatrics, Advisor on Deaf Children services, and Newborn Hearing Screening services.This role is covered by the PSA Allied Public Health, Scientific and Technical Collective Agreement. Salary range for this position is $88,627 to $116,390 (full-time equivalent).We are looking for an Audiologist who has excellent interpersonal skills, can work independently, has a willingness to learn, and can work flexibly in a busy team environment, whilst maintaining high standards of care.Applicants must have a minimum of a Master's degree in Audiology and be eligible for, or hold, Full Membership (Audiologist member) of the New Zealand Audiological Society (NZAS).
