Audio Visual - Technical Project Director Rapidly growing Auckland based Audio Visual Company TecHQ NZ Ltd are looking for a skilled full-time Technical Project Director to join the team! TecHQ NZ Ltd supply technical services for a large range of events from arena shows and conferences to car and product launches. Our ideal candidate would possess all or some of the following skills: 2+ years of technical experience in the Corporate Staging, Event, or Broadcast industry. Project Management experience preferred Strong technical background Strong client relationship skills Operational logistics experience Ability to manage multiple complex job functions within a fast-paced environment Technical diagram knowledge/experience preferred (Vectorworks) Duties Include: Effectively preparing and presenting quotes and proposals in a timely manner to customers Attending site visits, pre-event planning meetings, and appropriate venue meetings as necessary to support the customer event experience. Determining and securing the resources required to successfully complete each project Creation of technical diagrams and drawings Preparing and communicating project scope, execution plan, and individual responsibilities to team members Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients at all levels of their organization and provide outstanding customer service while focusing on client retention Following up with clients on-site to ensure that their needs are met and the equipment setup is working properly Maintaining knowledge of new product/service offerings and emerging technology supporting meetings and events Rostering of staff for your events Preparing jobs for invoicing To be considered for this role you will need: Top-notch customer services and communication skills To be cool, calm, and collected under pressure To be tidy and efficient To be a team player Excellent personal grooming and presentation Flexibility to work after hours and weekends as per the demands of the events industry The ability to pass random workplace drug testing at any time To hold a valid driver's license (Class 2 upwards would be an advantage) The ability to follow health and safety practices You must have NZ citizenship or residency What we can offer you: Top hourly rate for the right candidate paid on a weekly basis Company vehicle Company iPhone and Mac laptop The ability to work on some of Auckland's biggest and best events An awesome team to work with If the above sounds like you, we would love to hear from you! #J-18808-Ljbffr
