Position: Sales Representative / Territory Manager
Type: Full time
Salary: $80,000 Base Salary + % of branch profit margin
Sealco Ltd is searching for a self-motivated and hard-working Sales Representative / Territory Manager to join our team and help develop and grow sales in our Auckland, Waikato and Bay of Plenty/Taupo region.
Sealco is a market leading and innovative supplier for waterproofing membranes and roofing products throughout New Zealand. With two main warehouses based in Chch and Akl, we import and dispatch our products nationwide through our network of approved installers.
We are a well-established business in the building sector and architectural community with a good reputation and market share with plenty of opportunities for growth and career opportunities in the upper North Island region.
The position will primarily be based in the Auckland region with periodic travel to Hamilton and Bay of Plenty/Taupo. You will be able to work autonomously and have the ability to book appointments with our applicator & architecture network to arrange your meetings and call cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate and drive sales through architectural specifications and our applicator network for our roofing and waterproofing systems.
Engage with all key stakeholders involved in a project including the homeowner, builder, project manager, quantity surveyor, approved applicator, architect, and local council.
Build relationships and offer solutions, technical advice, technical and sales support, and sales quotations.
This diverse role requires a motivated and diligent sales professional. Although industry experience is not crucial, it is beneficial to the role; however, for the right person who demonstrates all the attributes we are looking for (especially self-motivation), this will be considered, and in-depth training will be provided.
Key Experience and Attributes Required:
Self-motivation and ability to make appointments and arrange formal meetings with clients, architects, and other trades.
Ability to communicate with all types of industry from professionals to tradespeople.
A high level of written and oral communication skills including phone, email & in-person skills.
Proven track record of meeting and surpassing sales KPI's.
Ability to learn quickly and to solve industry problems and offer solutions.
Exposure to and ability to develop relationships with a diverse range of customers.
Proficient with computers, emails and providing regular reporting to head office.
Highly self-organized and ability to travel periodically away (overnights) from Auckland region for business.
Willingness to go the extra mile to form a bond with your clients and to develop a mutually beneficial long-term business relationship.
