As one of New Zealand's leading specialized hire companies, we supply a wide range of elevated working platforms (EWP) such as scissor lifts, cherry pickers & knuckle booms to the construction industry.
Established in Christchurch in 1994 with a small portfolio of machinery we now supply over 1300 pieces of equipment nationwide.The Role:This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the three Auckland branches, providing technical knowledge and operational mentoring for staff.
This is a key role in terms of support and leadership, with a strong focus on training & staff development.Duties Include:Providing full operational support and mentoring, including advice of a technical nature to staff members.Coding of monthly supplier invoices and management of month-end processes.Continued monitoring of the Auckland fleet ensuring compliance and reporting requirements are met as per Best Practice in conjunction with the various yard staff.Responsible for ensuring that optimum utilization is being achieved as a result of the company's streamlined processes being met.Monitoring of Company Policy & Procedures at an operational level.Management of branch staff to ensure they are accountable and performing their roles as required.Ensuring that the brand is consistently delivering a high level of customer service to achieve ongoing customer satisfaction.Interaction with service agents and suppliers.Skills & Experience:Strength of character with exceptional organizational and admin skills.Previous experience in staff management is essential for this role.A high level of professionalism.An ability to make informed decisions.What's in it for you:Company car.Positive, friendly company culture.Non-hierarchical management structure.This position will be domiciled at Avondale - West Auckland and will encompass travel between the three branches in the Auckland region.How to Apply:Applications should be made by submitting a CV and cover letter outlining your interest, motivation, and what you would bring to this role by way of background, experience, and fit for the role and our team.
