About the Role: Te Kai Makona is The Salvation Army's framework to enable us to reach our vision that we are places of support and connection, that strengthen food security for whanau and communities.
Te Kai Makona has 3 key pillars: Better supporting people and whanau experiencing hardship through strengthening our food provisionsStrengthening food security for whanau and communities through food security initiativesAddressing the root causes of food insecurity.This leadership role will involve working with the Community Ministries teams and other stakeholders to develop and implement a regional strategy that enables The Salvation Army to realise the vision of Te Kai Makona.
You will also work alongside Community Ministry Managers and staff to support each Centre to realise Te Kai Makona, while representing The Salvation Army and collaborating with key regional food security stakeholders.

The two-year term may be extended depending on funding availability and the success of this new position.
The starting salary for this role will fall between $65,750 and $85,000 pro-rata.
