Through a comprehensive suite of undergraduate, PhD and post-doctoral scholarships, A*GA supports top-class education both locally and overseas to help passionate individuals realise their full potential. We also identify science talents through extensive outreach programmes and internships to nurture a diverse group of scientific talent to the fulfilment of AGA's vision.
The International Awards team of the A*STAR Graduate Academy (A*GA) awards scholarships to international talents at multiple entry points: undergraduate, PhD and post-doctoral and aims to develop scholars to their full potential. We are seeking a resourceful and energetic individual who is passionate about developing future generations of Science and Technology talent for A*STAR and Singapore. You will work with internal and external stakeholders on the smooth administration and monitoring of international awardees pursuing their education in Singapore. You may be involved in other A*GA wide duties from time to time.
Responsibilities
Recruitment of students under the international awards
Administer annual call for research projects to feature projects to interested applicants
Maintain relationship and liaise with local and overseas universities on award publicity and management
Manage and track the award application process from shortlisting to offer
Coordinate interview materials and schedules with interview panel and candidates
Attend to general enquiries on the international awards
Engagement of international awardees
Organise orientation events and engagement sessions for international awardees in terms of administrative duties and logistics
Arrange one-on-one sessions with awardees on an ad-hoc basis to discuss issues, if any
Oversee the A*STAR International Awardees Network (AIAN) to ensure smooth operations through regular communications with AIAN Executive Committee and assist with administrative duties when necessary.

Monitoring of international awardees
Ensure regular submission of progress reports, results, CV and/or other required documents based on award timeline
Track candidate progress and generate statistics for reporting
Other duties
Meeting secretariat: Collation of meeting agenda and minutes/notes-taking
Ensure award information on A*STAR website and intranet is up-to-date
Manage the general query mailbox
Requirements
Preferably a minimum of 8 years of admin experience
Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Keen to learn and self-motivated
Pro-active, quality conscious, attentive to details and results-oriented
Excellent team player who is resourceful with good communications and interpersonal skills
