Associate/Senior Associate (Corporate), 5-7 Years' Pqe - Akl

Email to AK (07.03.24) Just FYI, we currently have two people in talks with the partners at the moment. Based in our Auckland office, full-time, and the ability to work flexibly. The team are looking for someone who is at Associate level, or who has just moved into a Senior Associate role. Someone who's not after partnership soon, but senior enough to be able to be a 'safe pair of hands' within the team. The role would be reporting to Andrew Comer and Carlo Wan, and would be the only person reporting to the both of them. The two of them have quite different work, Carlo does a lot of work in the financial services space with companies that are regulated, particularly working with the Financial Service Providers Registrar, whereas Andy does predominately corporate and commercial transactions and deals. Corporate – working on big transactions, buying/selling assets, raising funds, joint ventures, setting up a funds and investing. Commercial - day to day operational work, T&C's, drafting contracts etc. They are looking for someone with experience in both spaces, approx. 5-7 PQE ideally.
