You will play an instrumental role to realise this vision with your work to better schools and hospitals, transform the water sector, decarbonise industry, and build infrastructure projects for our government clients. What will you do? Lead from the front – you will be integral in taking our team from strength to strength, culturally as well as their delivery Assist clients to navigate challenges and help them solve complex problems. Often, these problems require an understanding of how social, economic, or financial value is delivered, whether that is to customers, shareholders, or taxpayers Help clients balance their infrastructure asset and investment priorities, through advice or the development of frameworks and processes Use research tools and undertake financial and economic analysis, and apply modelling methods to help clients make important decisions for their organisations, such as monetised cost-benefit methods Produce professional, visually-engaging deliverables for clients to effectively convey our complex analyses into a tidy and easily digestible format, including business cases and other similar investment decision-making tools Network – you'll already be well connected in the Wellington market, and have a desire to continue building your presence in the market What can you bring to the team? To be successful in your application, you will need to have: A track record of working with a team to bring ideas to life Enthusiasm for the infrastructure sector, and the opportunities infrastructure creates for Aotearoa At least 4 years of relevant experience working in an infrastructure investment or asset management context, in a consultancy or client organisation Confident at driving deliverables and coordinating between multiple technical teams and/or stakeholders The ability to use facts and evidence to be insightful and persuasive Strong communication and numerical skills for report writing and presentations A broad set of experiences at and outside work that help you inform your growing problem-solving skills A tertiary qualification from a relevant field, such as Engineering, Finance/Economics, Urban Planning, etc. Strong Microsoft Suite skills, particularly PowerPoint and Excel Competent in Microsoft PowerBI is ideal Why Aurecon? 4% Kiwisaver employer contribution Flexible work hours and a hybrid work environment Public Holiday Swap amongst other type of leave benefits (Leave without Pay, purchased leave and more) Paid (22 weeks) and unpaid parental leave** Culture – we are a well tenured business and our culture is a major contributing factor Diverse organisation – we value diversity in our thinking and we can only achieve that with a diverse team!
