Reporting to both Department and Show leadership, the APM is responsible for scheduling and resource planning, managing artists' workloads, ensuring the departments' output is delivered on time, on budget and to the standard required for the show. The APM also partners closely with other APMs on their project. They are the key point person for all Artists and Coordinators on their team, regarding workload and wellbeing. Your key responsibilities will include: Managing artists to ensure the delivery of an individual's work in the allotted timeframe Establishing and communicating production workflows to support the efficient tracking and delivery of your team's portion of the work Providing training and support to other team members regarding workflows and processes Providing support to Supervisors and Leads regarding planning and priorities Providing support in determining crew resource allocation in line with global show priorities Reporting on the crew week (CW) budget spend for your department/s Accurately managing the database of statuses, bid and actuals, scheduling and tracking at the shot or product level Contributing to a positive Client experience by ensuring Leadership have a firm handle on key milestone and target progress Providing accurate and timely reports to Show and Department as required Running rounds, reviews and dailies Other skills essential to the role: You'll have previous knowledge of VFX pipeline with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in VFX and experience with digital platforms (e.g JIRA, Client review platforms, other) Knowledge of scheduling tools and principles. Knowledge of Microsoft Suite Leading by example, being resilient in high stress situations and being able to build quality relationships that emphasise communication and collaboration will be critical to your success in this role.
