You will also be responsible for drafting and advising on prenuptial agreements, asset planning, and protection; ensuring your clients have clear and concise guidance, in what can be an emotional and difficult time.The firm is well established in the family and RP space already, so you will have an existing, growing client base from day one.You will join a team of six specifically working on family and relationship property matters within the firm, and will benefit from a supportive and collaborative environment that fosters professional growth. The current Associates are Lead Legal Aid Providers, and the firm remains committed to providing legal aid services, including within this role, and the fee budget will reflect this.The role also offers plenty of autonomy to prioritise and manage your workload as you see fit, with flexibility in how you approach your work. With the firms AI-assisted tools supporting your research and streamlining processes, you'll also enjoy an efficient and innovative workplace.About You: We are seeking an experienced relationship property lawyer, with at least 6 years of expertise in this area.While you may come from a general law background, you will bring considerable experience with relationship property matters. Ideally, you will also be well-versed in Family Protection Act claims and trusts, particularly as they pertain to the division of assets.Additionally, you will have:Superb drafting skills and technical skills, with exceptional legal knowledge.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a natural advocate and problem solver.Great client relationship skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain these relationships.Proven experience in obtaining positive outcomes for your clients, driven by deep motivation and commitment.A friendly, personable nature; enjoy having a laugh and being part of a team.Benefits and Perks:Flexibility on offer with local hybrid work policy + remote working available.
